Number Two...

.:The Top Ten People I'm Most Grateful To This Year:.

Number 2:

The obvious song that should go out to Ranulf...

We Are The Champions
by Queen

I've paid my dues -
Time after time -
I've done my sentence
But committed no crime -
And bad mistakes
I've made a few
I've had my share of sand kicked in my face -
But I've come through

We are the champions - my friends
And we'll keep on fighting - till the end -
We are the champions -
We are the champions
No time for losers
'Cause we are the champions - of the world -

I've taken my bows
And my curtain calls -
You brought me fame and fortuen and everything that goes with it
-
I thank you all -

But it's been no bed of roses
No pleasure cruise -
I consider it a challenge before the whole human race -
And I ain't gonna lose -

We are the champions - my friends
And we'll keep on fighting - till the end -
We are the champions -
We are the champions
No time for losers
'Cause we are the champions - of the world -

2. Ranulf: I cannot think of one other person who would be gracious enough to take me in after having been evicted from my house for a full week, let alone two months. Ranulf is definitely the person I would be extremely grateful to for having helped me out of the tightest spot I've ever been in my life, bar none. If it wasn't for him, you might say that I was definitely screwed when I got evicted from the house.

But being the life-saver that he was isn't the only reason to be grateful to Ranulf. Beyond even that, Ranulf has been a great friend you can talk to. With his unmatchable zeal in giving his all for the things he believes in, Ranulf's infectious drive never fails to will on the people around him. It's hard to not appreciate that facet of his personality, to say the least.

Well, it's definitely a year that I have to thank Ranulf for. I wouldn't even be quite sure if I'd have made it past September if it wasn't for his help, and for that and for having his amazing drive and enthusiasm rub off on me to keep me from giving up, it's not hard to see why I'm very thankful to have a friend like Ranulf.
