I don't know with you, but I'm mighty pleased that the embarrasment known as Eddie Gil is now out of the presidential race. Even if he has no chance to win, the mere fact that he is a candidate is representative of our country's idiocy in the international community. Denying him his opportunity to run will save us some face.

Any man who refuses to divulge his father's identity in one interview then claims that he's Ferdinand Marcos' illegitimate son is clearly in need of medical help, or has a short-term memory disorder even worse than Drew Barrymore's in "50 First Dates". I, for one, am really glad he's not going to be a presidential candidate anymore.

How do we expect to give this jabroni the benefit of the doubt? Any rich man must declare his assets for purposes of taxations. If he weren't lying about his riches, then he is the biggest tax evader alive. Why vote for someone like that? If he were lying about his riches, on the other hand, why vote for a charlatan like him, period? Either way, there's a lie there. That, plus the fact that he is really a nuisance candidate in the most literal sense of the word, and I swear, I cannot help but be relieved he's gone now.
