While I was reviewing for Theology today along SEC and CTC, Mr. Callasanz passed by. I probably looked really nervous, and he thought that he was the cause. I ended up calling him "Father" as I tried to tell him I was really reviewing for the quiz... he was grinning as though he was enjoying every moment of tension... ah, well. No wonder they wrote that "Terrorist" Article on him in the Guidon... still, he's one of the best profs around, and that gives him the license to be the way he is.
Fr. Reyes came up with yet another funny joke in Theology class... that guy is sure funny, to say the least. Wish I learned more than just his jokes, though. The semester's about to end, and I really felt so much more could've been done in his class...
Quoting Fr. Reyes: There's actually a natural substitute for Viagra. All you have to do is get Makahiya leaves, and an hour before the act, make tea out of the leaves. When you drink the mixture, it will really be erect. But don't touch it, or else it will shrivel up, just like the Makahiya leaves...
With all the numerous times I've spoken about Fr. Reyes in a mixed light, it'd be a wonder if I'd ever attempt to give my URL to him. Haha-haha! Let's face it: I like the guy personally. He's okay, and I'm sure if I found out where he celebrates mass, and I'm anywhere within the vicinity at the time, I'd take the effort to attend.
Despite that, his teaching methods do leave a lot to be desired... especially when he comes up with quizzes. Like a while ago, he actually gave us a fairly lengthy reading assignment that he conveniently EXCLUDED from the quiz. He then asked us some obscure items from Gaudium et Spes that really got us. Yeah, they were bonus questions, but at that point, every single extra credit mattered. I might need to have at least a 95 in my finals if I intend to still get a B+...
Madame no Miko, I'm glad you liked the Halo-halo. Heaven in a cup, indeed!
If you want a dose of comedy, check out Sacha's Random Thoughts On Love And Relationships. Good comedy material, I might have to say, although she was fairly serious about it when she was working on it. If you ever do follow the guide to the letter, and something good happens between you and any geeky girl (Not just Sach, as she did say.), let me know, and I might just start taking the guide MORE seriously (There's some merit in it as is, though.).
Anyways, beyond that, I haven't much to say. I'm still working on my new layout, and it seems my computer doesn't register certain pictures. That's why I thought certain people's blog pics were down...
Ah, well.
.:Addendum:.
I didn't even realize that Blogger stopped archiving my stuff. Apparently, my archives lasted only for fifteen weeks. Everything else is gone. Darn! Can someone please let me know if there's a way to recover the archives or something? Please?
